New culinary adventures.


This past weekend was full of that great Korean tradition, drinking and noraebang. I did try some bun dae gee, which is silkworm larvae (see above). Never again. Mind you, the folks I was with were gulping it down like there was no tomorrow.

if you hadn't told me what it was, i'd have thought it was pecans....ew. i'm impressed that you tried it. :)

They look just like pecans, which is the creepy thing. They taste just like you'd expect insects to taste though. Gross.
